Fat Grafting or Fat Transfer is the procedure where excess fat is removed from areas such as the abdomen, flanks, hips or thighs and, after special preparation, injected into areas of the body that need filling. The surgeon specializes in the use of the micro fat grafting technique & PRP preparation.

Ques.1 Can the surgeon re-use the fat after liposuction?
Ans. Yes, this procedure is called fat grafting and usually great option in liposuction patient who want to re-use the fat that has been taken out after liposuction by injecting it where it is required (as per patient’s need).

Ques.2: What are the benefits of Fat Grafting?
Ans. Fat grafting can be a substitute of breast implants as this procedure is frequently used to augment smaller breasts without insertion of any foreign material. The usual indications of fat grafting are: Sunken & hollow appearance around the eye, filling of shrunken/flat cheek, to resurface any depressed area of body due to trauma, injections or abscess.

Ques.3: Can it be possible to do Fat Grafting for very thin people to make them look healthy?
Ans. Not possible. Only the autologous (your own fat) can be grafted, and it can be transferred or redistributed in your own body only. As a thin individual already do not have much fat in their body so it is not possible to do any fat grafting to them. Anyone else’s fat cannot be injected to your body because it will be rejected by the body or your body will create severe very harmful allergic reaction that 'foreign' fat.
